Music integrates language, culture, and community. Supporting patients and families through music in their language or from their culture region creates normalization. 

Picture books allow families to use their own language to narrate, engage and scaffold language for their child. 

When resources are limited enlist bilingual families to partner with child life by writing translations underneath the English favorites.
